Last winter, as part of our year-long retainer package with Fielden Whisky, we brainstormed a variety of film ideas. From sales-focused content to engaging stories about the brand, we aimed to entertain and connect Fielden with its new audience. One of our most thrilling concepts was to create fun-filled films that would memorably showcase the brand’s identity—and boy, did we hit the mark!

A Bold Approach

We envisioned this project as a unique PR exercise, a statement of confidence: “Look how sure we are about our product that we’ll let people taste test it under a lie detector!” We had always dreamed of making a film using a lie detector, and we finally found the perfect partner in Fielden—a brand bold enough to embrace the challenge.

Confidence in Every Sip

Fielden Whisky’s commitment to quality and flavour made them the ideal candidate for this experiment. Their confidence in their product was palpable, and we wanted to showcase that. Our crew, full of hidden talents, brought this vision to life. Producer Sophie, a former actor, stepped into the role of a sassy scientific lie detector guru. Her charisma and ability to steer the conversation kept the atmosphere lively and fun!

An Unforgettable Event

We filmed this series during Fielden’s flagship annual event, Lammas Day. Our priority was to ensure that the filming enhanced the guests’ experience rather than interrupt it. By keeping the vibes high and the laughs flowing, we attracted a diverse cast of characters to feature in our films. This not only added depth to our content but also boosted its shareability online.

Keeping It Light and Fun

To strike the right balance, we made sure not every question was directly related to Fielden Whisky. We mixed in classic topics that people love to lie about, along with industry pet peeves. This approach generated plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and kept the content engaging.
