Hours in nightclubs
Branded documentary partners so far have included Ballantines, Olmeca and New Era. Each film tells a story that reflects the brand partner’s ethos and resonates with the electronic music world. Our documentary with Moodymann marked the release of his New Era clothing collection. Shot on location in his home city of Detroit, and featuring a master interview conducted by Giles Peterson in London, the film explores the enigmatic producer’s relationship with these two cities and how this is reflected in his work.
Working with Ballantine’s, we travelled to some of the world’s most iconic nightclubs to tell their stories of survival. The film premiered at the ADE dance music festival and served as a powerful tool to promote Ballantine’s’ signature bottles; designed to recognise the legacy of each contributing club and deepen the drinks brand’s connection with dance music.
