At the centre of this partnership is their most prestigious flagship industry event – The L’Oréal Colour Trophy. Our partnership involves working with the marketing, events and PR teams on everything from event coverage to fashion films and the social media campaign.

Execution

Clockwise produces all content for L’Oréal’s flagship event campaign, The L’Oréal Colour Trophy. Since 2014 we have transformed the contest’s social media coverage, leading to a huge increase in activity across all online channels and opening up new avenues for L’Oréal to interact with an engaged audience of young talented hairdressers.

Our choreographed screen content is now an integral part of the competition’s groundbreaking fashion shows, reaching a global audience, helping to maintain L’Oréal’s position at the forefront of the hairdressing industry, and strengthening relationships with key salon clients.

EVENT COVERAGE

Clockwise has covered the event for the last decade but it has been running for over 65 years. We have cemented the legacy by digitising the old tapes and continue to make highlights films with a mix or archive and new footage, to document and showcase the rich history of the event across the L’Oréal and partner platforms.

SOCIAL CONTENT

The campaign is spread across nine months of the year, from the launch to the Grand Final. Clockwise have worked closely with the marketing and PR teams over the years to plan and develop their social strategy that moves with the times to achieve their objectives. We promote the events online, sell tickets, create hype and open the doors to a young and engaged audience.
