Clockwise has partnered with The Royal Society on a series of lectures exploring the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI). We’re used to working with some influential people in music, events and fashion – but this marks our first time filming with one of the world’s oldest and most respected scientific institutions! The Royal Society is hosting the lecture series in association with DeepMind – Google’s AI division. AI is likely to have a huge impact on our lives in years to come and the series aims to shed some light on a subject with the potential to both intrigue and terrify. The first lecture was given by Demis Hassabis, co-founder of DeepMind and one of the world’s leading figures in AI development. Look out for further editions of the series in the coming months.
