Over the years we have been lucky enough to bump into Jack on many occasions. What always stood out was his humble nature and infectious banter. As Jack was breaking onto the scene in 2010, Red Bull asked us to go and document a bank holiday weekend in his hometown of Glasgow. He showed us around and took us under his wing for 48 hours in the lead-up to a night he was putting on with his now legendary Numbers crew. It’s always special when connecting with an artist as they take their first steps into an industry and what stood out that weekend was the excitement of the road that lay ahead and his deeply authentic way of playing music. The following year he asked us to document a Numbers party in London as they put on their first DIY rave in the capital. Strangely for various reasons, neither film ended up being released but hearing the tragic news this weekend made us dig them out from the archives – hopefully, they can find their way to his family and friends at this difficult time to remind them of happier moments.
