Clockwise was called upon to shoot a promo film with Anthony Joshua in the run-up to his world title defence against Russian fighter Alexander Povetkin. With less than 10 days to go, Anthony was deep in preparation for the fight and was keen for the film to be shot by a crew with whom he’d already established a rapport. We’d enjoyed a positive shoot with Anthony earlier this year and so we were enlisted by Lucozade and sports marketing agency CSM to make this latest film happen. We pulled together a team and hit the road to Sheffield… Our brief was to give fans an insight into the training regime of a world champion. We used the slow-motion FS5 with Odyssey recorder to capture high frame rate footage of Anthony during a vigorous training session – complete with subtle Lucozade brand references. Senior creative Sim Higginson: “Anthony Joshua is not only a formidable presence in the ring but a great personality who must rank as number one in terms of his approachable nature and ease to work with. We’re looking forward to continuing our relationship with CSM and Lucozade and spending more time with the heavyweight champion of the world.” To check out more work from Clockwise Film – Click Here.
