As a producer at Clockwise, I lead the team in all things fashion. Whether that be producing the L’Oréal Colour Trophy or styling celebrities for our Chelsea X Three connect with series; I’ve got it covered. Having attended last year’s London Fashion Week SS25 catwalks and presentations, I was eager to see what the designers had in store for Autumn/Winter. Showcasing an array of established and emerging designers, it was interesting to draw parallels in potential trends and themes. Attending established designer Mark Fast’s catwalk, we were first introduced to a darker look; a long black tailored dress. We then slowly transitioned into a more colourful palette with knitted dresses reminiscent of warmer days. What stayed consistent though were the makeup looks which nodded to Fast’s bold style. Continuing with upcoming designer Tifaret at Protein Studios, we saw a mix of tailored suit-style garments and airy pastel items. We can see a similarity in textures to Fast’s collared jackets and ruffled silhouettes. Moving onto luxury designer BARRUS’s show, there was a shift in style and attitude. With floaty and light pieces, we saw a lot of sheer fabrics that felt more spring/summer. There was a similar colour palette to the above designers; Tifaret with purple cool tones and Fast with the mustard/yellow hues. Overall, it was a great day watching the shows, and I look forward to using the research in upcoming projects and inspiring new client journeys.
