Over the last few months, Clockwise has been engaging with the electronic music and queer communities in Kyiv on a special documentary project. We have strong ties to the people of Ukraine and, along with the rest of the world, we’re shocked and saddened about the barbaric invasion of their country. We’re working with our local contacts and channel partners to do what we can to help, from raising awareness to donations to various causes listed below. Our friends at Beatport are running a global live stream this Sunday 13th March, in order to raise funds for marginalised communities in Ukraine and to support those fleeing the country through Choose Love’s Ukraine Crisis Appeal. Message From Beatport Our 20+ hour music marathon event will begin this Sunday, March 13 at 12 AM EST / 6 AM CET, and will feature performances from world-renowned talent in benefit of Choose Love’s Ukraine Crisis Appeal Live events will be taking place in New York at Public Records; Lisbon at Collect; Sydney at The Point/Shell House; Bali at Morabito and Berlin at Baketown; with additional artists joining in from Brazil, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain and more throughout the duration of the multi-hour festival. Beatport believes in the eternal power of music to unite the world even in the most difficult of times and we hope to raise vital funds for those in need with you this week.
