Fielden Whisky

Brand Launch Campaign

Clockwise helped The Oxford Artisan Distillery launch their new whisky brand, Fielden, as part of Diageo’s exciting innovator programme. We developed multiple strands of branded content to promote the whisky across all channels, including brand stories, event coverage, PR moments and social-first cocktail masterclasses. With the aim to convey their sustainable farming methods and secure partnerships to propel growth.

Brief

Clockwise joined Fielden’s creative department to develop a distinctive style for their product launch and ongoing communications strategy throughout 2025. Our brief was to create content that supports and promotes their commitment to heritage grains, sustainable farming practices, and exceptional quality.

Supporting our commitment through B-Corp to work with a sustainable brand as well as heroing human nature stories, we proposed a variety of creative concepts. These ranged from filming with Fielden farmers, the distillers, the manufacturers, the customers and of course nature’s natural fertilisers, the sheep!

Execution

Throughout the campaign, our primary goal was to spotlight the vibrant personalities within Fielden’s infrastructure. We introduced audiences to the heart and soul of the brand: the farmers.

The video content was highly varied to engage Fielden’s broad demographic across multiple platforms. This content ranged from hook-led social content to short documentaries following the farmers’ daily lives. We even produced a poetry-led short film celebrating the importance of hedgerows to wildlife, highlighting Fielden’s most premium offering: Hedgerow Whisky.

Results

By leaning into this human-centric approach, the campaign exuded authenticity, driving a surge of organic traffic across Fielden’s website and social channels.

This momentum propelled Fielden to become the #1 English sustainable whisky brand. Our newfound visibility sparked high-profile collaborations with prestigious partners like Fortnum & Mason and British Airways, culminating in Fielden being named one of the “Top 50 Most Admired Whiskies” in the world.

Not bad for a year’s harvest.
