High-end fashion film for TONI&GUY’s groundbreaking hairdressing shows at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy events. Pushing the boundaries of hair and beauty to stun audiences and pave the way in the hair industry.
Clockwise created high-end fashion visuals for two of TONI&GUY’s flagship hair shows. The priority for the content is to elevate the live events in collaboration with L’Oréal. The secondary requirement is to work as stand-alone content for the brand’s social channels.
The creative process is always very collaborative, working very closely with TONI&GUY’s creative team, as well as the choreographer of the event. The high level of contributors/brands involved means that every aspect of the production needs to be pushed to the limit within the constraints of time and budget.
The visuals for the Elements show were projected onto a perspex box and enormous superwide screen during a stunning immersive performance by the models. The extra challenge here was timing, to ensure the videos that we provided matched up exactly with the performance in order to blow the minds of the audience.
The more recent Vantage show involved numerous models and lighting setups in one shoot day. The film was a first for L’Oréal’s long running Colour Trophy event – a stand-alone fashion film that was broadcast as a premiere in the 2021 livestream.
These shows have elevated the brand’s perception, at the live shows and online. The events are key dates in the hairdressing industry calendar and have cemented the salon’s long lasting strategic partnership with L’Oréal, putting both brands at the forefront of the industry.
We wanted to match the cutting-edge artistic hair designs of TONI&GUY with an equally ambitious video concept....and we are really happy with the outcome. - Chris Light, Senior Creative at Clockwise Film
