We are Clockwise, an agile team of filmmakers and creators, specialising in content and storytelling.
We exist to tell authentic human nature stories. To weave the most captivating stories, we immerse ourselves in communities and subcultures.
Why? Because diverse representation in media allows underrepresented groups to see themselves portrayed meaningfully, giving every viewer a sense of belonging. For all audiences of every background, engaging with stories expands our worldview and cultivates empathy. At Clockwise, we believe that’s what storytelling is all about.
Within the immediate environment of our HQ in Bristol, we advocate for marginalised talent to find a foothold in the film production industry. We are taking action by partnering with Big Team CIC in working to dismantle the systemic barriers facing young talent and challenging long-held industry norms. Our ultimate goal is to invite underrepresented talent to enter our door and thrive as part of the Clockwise family.
Under our roof, we take steps towards creating a sustainable, inclusive place for our team to call home. We have committed to reducing our emissions through the SME Climate Hub, and we are part of the UN Climate Change High Level Champion’s Race to Zero campaign.
Clockwise is also a signatory of The We Mean Business Coalition letter demanding global leaders at COP commit to a clean energy future and limit global heating to 1.5 degrees.
In unison with thousands of other organisations across the globe, we are using our voice and power as a business to call (loudly!) for swift, fair climate action now.
