Not every film company can brag about having their own personal stylist – but Clockwise can!

We’ve made many great friends in the hair industry thanks to the years we’ve spent producing film content for the likes of L’Oréal and Creative HEAD.

Chief among them is Noel Halligan, winner of the Bristol L’Oréal Colour Trophy – and a regular in the Clockwise offices.

Noel keeps the team looking sharp and we make his film content which showcases his considerable talents.

When Noel opened high-end hair salon NOCO with business partner Corey, he came to us for help spreading the word.

Noel wanted to inform prospective clients about the salon’s unique consultation process with a visually stimulating film, made with high production values to reflect the quality of NOCO’s service.

Clockwise senior creative Sim Higginson:

“After a brainstorming session we settled on a technique as old as it is gold: the jump cut. With all the new edit transitions that exist, the jump cut is often overlooked as a powerful and stylish means of communicating ideas quickly.

“We used our favourite high-end fashion camera, the Sony F55, and CP2 prime lenses to shoot as many reactions and styles as possible, on a variety of coloured backdrops, before ‘showcasing’ the final look.

“NOCO was delighted with the outcome and we look forward to visiting Noel in his new shop to test out his consultation process…”
